From the founder
"At first, I chose entrepreneurship because I thought it was fun and I was too young to work a real job. Then, I noticed that my community did not have a quality bakery for a reasonable price and that there was a true demand for my products. I chose a non-profit because I believe that everyone has their own story and experiences. There have been so many systematic disjunctions that have placed minorities in disadvantaged situations that it is hard to be successful and live a quality life in America. Although I still face many struggles being a minority in a majority white society, I believe that by working to empower and support other minorities, especially the younger generations, we can and will overcome these oppressions that have disadvantaged our families and future".
